Vampire Valley

When a mysterious eclipse makes the night come early, it is up to you to make the difficult decision to take a chance on the dark streets of the city to pick up your child from school. The creatures of the night roam the streets when darkness takes over the city and look for victims to satisfy their hunger, regardless of who they are.

Interactive narrative game with alternate endings, developed in a week at Twine for the discipline of "Development of Worlds and Mythologies: Art and Writing."

The subject required story creation, universe logic, characters, meaningful choices, and the concept of the logo.

Development

The interactive narrative Vampire Valley has 8 endings, some victorious and others less so. Its story includes fun references and logical puzzles that make the player challenge himself and imagine the consequences. The image below shows the ramifications of the player's decisions, so I advise you to play before reading the decision tree.

Some paths allow the player to go back or lead to points that can be reached in other ways, as well as some objects that can be unlocked with some specific decisions. The holy water puzzle is my favorite because of the amount of possibilities it offers: take a few drops, increase the amount in the fountain, refill the container, or bathe in the sacred waters.

The next step is to finish translating the game into English, as Itch.io's analytics make it possible to compare the number of accesses and the number of players. I realize that there is a language barrier for some visitors and I would like more people to have access to the story.
